Snail Mailing, the Planner Community and the Country's Economy

Many years ago, snail mails have been so popular since there are no mobile phones yet, no internet connection and no latest technologies. People have been contented with the long wait of letters from loved ones, friends and penpals. With the advent of new inventions, snail mails have not been so practiced and so post offices become silent. People have been hooked into electronic mails and messages.

Until such time there comes a story changer... "THE PLANNER COMMUNITY". This community has revived the post offices, this community has revived the love of writing letters, swapping goodies, sharing culture and different stories. Many have been involved in penpalling and making friends around the world. It becomes popular through women with the same interests and passion.

I being a part of the community have seen how we have helped the country's economy. In every letter being sent, we pay a postage fee due to our country. Not to mention the stuff that we but for swapping, these have contributed to the collection of our country through tax paid by sellers themselves. What I would like to emphasized then? I would like to emphasize that we as members of this community have contributed a lot, not only to the personal growth of others or even ourselves but also to our individual countries. Let us always remember that we are a catalyst of change.

Thus, let us commit ourselves to continue writing, to continue reviving our post offices, to continue inspiring others.

Why do I love joining Giveaways??

The one that motivated me to join Instagram is my friend who told me that she won cards from an Instagram user. Then, I joined. I joined beauty and gadget contests but I never won. One day, I joined a crafting set giveaway and I won a consolation prize. I was so happy.

Then, through an Instagram user I found an international planner giveaway hosted by @imlola.love.  It requires reposting and tagging friends and guess what,  I won!!! That made my way to the planning and crafting community. I am LED back to what I really like and want since my high school years. Then, I have won other giveaways just like stickers, personalized bracelet, mother essentials, notebooks, clips and many more..

But why I am joining this one? hmmmm.. . First, our family income is sufficient for the family needs and my wants especially for crafting are not the priority. Next, I want to have stuff that is not available here in the place where I am. And Lastly, the feeling of getting things free is making me happy.

What do I usually do with my winnings? I used it, I keep it and I share it. I believe that every giveaway winning is a blessing, a blessing that needs to be shared and I am so glad that I became also an inspiration to others to do crafting and planning here in our place.

And I am grateful for the people who have been so kind enough to share what they have. MAY GOD BLESS US ALL.

A Glimpse of my kikki.K Planner

Who could ever think that a lady like me who is living in one of the provinces here in the Philippines could have a personal experience of this pretty kikki.K Medium Leather Personal Planner. I have won this from an international giveaway and I feel so blessed that I have won.

Now I want to share to you what I love with this planner, how I use it and what do I want as improvements. 

All kikki.K planners are unique and it suites me because I am also unique, everyone is unique. 

What I love about this planner?

I love the color and style, it is so girly and simple. I love the features such as: Stud closure, pen holder, ring binder, card holders and its packets.  It also includes 18 months calendar(without dates), to do list, today notepad, meeting notes, note pages, lined notepad and stickers. 

The pages of this planner are great, thin and smooth. I loved this planner because its inserts are refillable, so it's my task now to keep the cover presentable and fine as well as the ring binder so that it would still last for how many years(hopefully). Aside from that, the calendar don't have dates so I have the freedom on what date to start without worrying of unused pages. 

                                                                 How do I used this Planner?

From the time I have this planner on hand I bring it with me wherever I go, office, church, meetings and even with special travels.  I used the calendar to note all birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions. I used the meeting notes to take note of the proceedings of meetings, now the note pages have been used for my weekly plans, activities and to dos. Since it is not date I really take time to create dates and designs for it. SOME planner enthusiasts give me inspiration and ideas to make my weekly spread. I am also improving. The packets are used to hold page flags and sticky notes and the rest of it, I am still enjoying it's view.

 What I want as Improvements?

       hmmm...for me, it's almost perfect, but.. though I love that it customizable in terms of calendar and weekly thing, on the other side of it, it would really take time to put dates and the like. How I wish also that it has a bag that would serve as a pouch of the planner in such a way that it would be protected.

My First Planner

Hello everyone... This is my first post for this blogsite.  I want to share my 1st planner and what rekindled the fire of planning, penpals and crafting. It was on the last week of June 2015 that I started joining the planner community. I got inspired with the moms and planners located in different places of the world which I found in instagram. I am inspired of their passion and creativity. 

Since I don't have budget for planners and its accessories, I customized my Hello Kitty note and look for printables in the web. Also I won a silk tape from a giveaway from a crafting shop and use it as decoration for the notebook's pages.
